HOW I WORK
Design with intent, build with evidence.
1
I start with evidence through user research, data, and insights from domain experts before I begin design.
2
I distill dense requirements into clear paths that respect both business goals and user needs.
3
I value accessibility because small details build trust and elevate product quality.
MY BACKGROUND
Hi, I'm Pavithra.
I believe great experiences begin with empathy and clear intention. I value intuitiveness because it gives users confidence and makes products feel approachable from the first interaction.

My journey into UX started from the other side of the screen. A thoughtful redesign of a tool I used every day changed how I understood design, and I wanted to learn how that happened.

That curiosity carried me through my master's at Rutgers, where I entered the CreateRU 2023 UX Design Hackathon to test whether I could actually do this under pressure. In one day, I designed a mental wellness app for students navigating finals. The tight deadline stripped away distractions, no feature creep, no perfectionism, just: what's the core problem, and what's the simplest path to solve it? That focus on MVP thinking, clear flows, and user-first decisions won first place, with prizes sponsored by Figma. It validated what I was building toward and how I still approach design today.

Today, I bring a cross-disciplinary perspective to product work by balancing user needs, technical feasibility, and business goals.

THREE DISCIPLINES, ONE PERSPECTIVE
Design
I bring visual craft and user empathy to each decision, from information architecture to interaction detail.
Engineering
I understand technical constraints and can have real conversations with developers about what is feasible.
Business
I design with product goals and measurable outcomes in mind, not user delight in isolation.
